Florence Jones, America's Color Consultants - DC Metro & Northern VA (formerly Arlington Color Consultants) is an independent paint color consulting firm not affiliated with any paint manufacturer. We help you choose the perfect paint color from any line of paint available on the market: Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, PPG Pittsburgh Paint, McCormick Paints, Farrow & Ball and others. Paint choices available to homeowners have never been greater and proper color coordination can make a room really come together and show off your furniture, rugs, and art.

Overwhelmed by Renovation Decisions? Florence has over 20 years of experience working with contractors on behalf of her clients to assure their vision is implemented accurately. Knowledgeable and creative, America's Color Consultants - DC Metro & Northern VA will guide you through the numerous decisions and thousands of products you'll encounter during a renovation. We can help you with product selection such as wall and floor tile, lighting, countertops, cabinets, granite and general contruction. Packages of hours are available after the initial consultation.
Paint Consultation Options
In Home Hourly - We consult with you on an hourly or on a per-project basis. There is a minimum of one hour on initial consultation. Exterior consultations on average run 1-2 hours and interior consultations 2-3 hours. An In-Home Consultation is the best option when choosing the optimal color for your home. We offer Customer Satisfaction and follow-up help is available by phone or email. $50 trip charge for north of the beltway and south of Springfield, VA.
In-Store or Virtual Consultation - Priced per hour and any portion of an hour with a 1-hour minimum. An In-Store Consultation service is a lower cost alternative if you are not sure where to begin with your color selections. We will meet you at the paint store of your choice - be sure to bring artwork, fabric swatches and/or photos or videos of your home. A video call-in consult is offered while not the ideal way to proceed given we cannot see the lighting or details of the space in person, it can be a good starting point.
